Unreal Engine for Architects Designers and Visualizers
Are you looking to take your architectural and design projects to the next level? If so, I have an exciting opportunity for you. Introducing my comprehensive Unreal Engine training course designed specifically for architects, designers, and visualizers. In this course, I will guide you through the entire process of creating impressive, high-quality project presentations using Unreal Engine.
Unreal Engine has become a game-changer in the architectural industry, with renowned companies incorporating its technology into their workflows. By mastering Unreal Engine, you can gain a competitive edge and deliver outstanding results to your clients.
The course consists of 43 lessons, providing you with 9 hours of valuable information. Every word spoken is concise and to the point, ensuring that you gain practical skills and knowledge that you can immediately apply to your projects.
We will be working on a real project—a house renovation with land in Texas—providing you with a practical and hands-on learning experience. To start, we will prepare the 3D model for export to Unreal Engine, optimizing geometry to reduce Draw Calls, a crucial factor in interactive projects. You will learn how to optimize heavy furniture assets and efficiently handle multiple instance copies of assets to enhance performance.
Lighting plays a significant role in project perception, so we will dedicate ample time to setting up artificial light in both the interior and exterior. We will address glow artifacts, finding the best solutions to eliminate them. You will discover how to create realistic skies using procedural clouds and custom HDRI textures. Additionally, we will fine-tune post-processing settings and render quality for each specific area of the project using Post Process Volume.
Creating and customizing materials is another vital aspect of architectural visualization. You will learn how to develop your own materials and leverage the power of Megascans presets to expedite your workflow. Adding foliage, plants, and landscaping elements will also be covered in detail. You will explore different techniques for creating grass, including the use of procedural grass materials that offer stability and efficient resource utilization.
Optimizing dynamic light sources and setting up interactive features using Blueprint will be a major focus of the course. Through the use of Levels and Blueprint, you will optimize your project to achieve your desired FPS and implement interactive furniture replacement and other functionalities. We will also create a user-friendly main menu with quality and resolution settings, as well as a preload screen to ensure smooth transitions between levels.
Throughout the course, I understand that challenges may arise. That’s why I have created a supportive community where all students can engage in discussions, share difficulties, and collaborate on finding solutions, making the learning experience even more enriching.
